Two new political T-shirts arrived in the Marc by Marc Jacobs Accessories store on Wednesday, both scrawled with the words, "I pay my taxes, I want my RIGHTS!" Our favorite of the two depicts a chic, presumably lesbian couple clad in stiletos and little black dresses, their arms draped around each other and a baby (who, adorably, also sports her own mini-LBD). The other version has a dollar sign and an American flag floating around the text. Both are $24 at 385 Bleecker Street, where assistant store manager Bret Paterson says they've been selling. The response has been positive as they've been unpacking them over the past couple of days — mainly a mix of "well, they deserve it," remarks and delighted laughter, he says. According to a rep from the showroom, both are available in limited runs of around 200.

ART DECO GODESS HITS MEXICO CITY THIS SUMMER :

Tamara deLempicka is the most famous painter of the art deco period. She was born in Poland and moved to Russia where she lived until the Bolsheviks arrested her husband during the Russian Revolution. She secured his release and they fled to Paris. There she enrolled at the Academie de la Grand Chaumiere and studying privately. She was quite a prolific artist (in part facilitated by her spare simple style) and was much sought after as a portrait artist.

Her distinctive and bold artistic style developed quickly and epitomized the cool yet sensual side of the Art Deco movement. De Lempicka's technique would be novel, clean, precise, and elegant.

In 1929, she painted her iconic work Auto-Portrait (Tamara in the Green Bugatti) for the cover of the German fashion magazine Die Dame. As summed up by the magazine Auto-Journal in 1974, "the self-portrait of Tamara de Lempicka is a real image of the independent woman who asserts herself. Her hands are gloved, she is helmeted, and inaccessible; a cold and disturbing beauty [through which] pierces a formidable being—this woman is free!"[5] De Lempicka won her first major award in 1927, first prize at the Exposition Internationale de Beaux Arts in Bordeaux, France for her portrait of Kizette on the Balcony.

The biggest exhibiton of her works is now opening in Mexico City´s Palace of Fine Arts .

Campeón mundial en 2005 y 2007 , es ahora en 2009 cuando defenderá su corona como el mandamás de la piscina en la competencia de 100 Mts. estilo libre.

Aunque es generalmente un nadador muy rápido, Magnini se siente más cómodo con los 100m estilo libre, donde puede usar toda su capacidad para incrementar gradualmente su velocidad: pudiendo de esta manera alcanzar una velocidad bastante alta en los últimos 25 metros, donde normalmente otros nadadores comienzan a disminuir la potencia. El impulso dado por sus piernas es hoy considerado como uno de lo más fuertes del mundo

1.Karmabeat: Meital and Itay I think that now you are quite conscious about the BLAST Out of my skin means in your careers...¿ Did you ever thought performing at the world´s biggest gay pride ?

Epiphony : We can tell you, that both of us are big dreamers, and weve always wanted our music to reach as many people as possible. However we couldn’t have imagined how it will actually feel to perform in front of all these wonderful people who love our music. Performing in the world's biggest pride parade, makes us extremely proud too, and it is one of many dreams coming true for us.

2- K: Brazilian crowds are very knowledgable about electronic music..¿ What have you learned about the Brazilian electronic feeling and point of view ?

E: By attending the Sao Paulo pride parade we have learned that Brazilian people have excellent taste in music. The tempo is very groovy and up-beat, and the melody has to be thrilling. On top of that, dancing is a crucial part of the vibe of the people here, so if it doesn’t make you dance, it doesn’t work :)

3-K: ¿What did you like the best from Sao Paulo?

E: We enjoyed the great parties, the professionalism of all the people that have worked with us, and made sure everything is perfectly done. We also loved the warm welcoming people we met wherever we went, and we can say we have made friendships in Sao-Paulo that will last a life time :)

4-K: Coming from a country with a different culture but a similar love for music and life ¿ Is there anything you have adopted from your quick but intense contact with the Brazilian way of life ?

E: We have adopted many words in Portuguese for starters, (we really loved the sound of the language) and we have tried to adopt the dancing moves and natural happiness on everyone's faces here the dancing was the hard part!

5-K: We think Sao Paulo will have a new favourite duo. ¿ Are there any plans to perform in places like Rio de Janeiro or Florianópolis ?

E: We sure are planning to perform there, and any other place we can blow people's mind with our music!

6-K: If you had to use three words to describe this days in Brazil, ¿ Which would be those 3 words ?

E: "Nos te amamos !
